Couldn’t agree with you more, Dan. I’ll admit I was on Food Stamps for a while, but I never took a vacation. I worked everyday that I could get away with. Overtime almost every paycheck, and if I was fired from a job, I had another in a week or two. Vacation was a dream, not a goal. My goal was to get OFF of Food Stamps. I’m no longer on Food Stamps, and I can gladly say that a vacation is no longer a dream, but a goal. In state, but none the less a vacation. My family deserves it, and I’d like to think that I deserve it considering I worked my way up to a better situation, home, job, and pay.
