Guest post of the week by Brittany Booker
We downsized when we turned sixty and bought Winnie, our dream Winnebago. We had been planning on touring the country when we retired, but our children never thought that we would really do it. We have been traveling for six months out of the year for the last ten years. We have been everywhere in the continental United States. We have seen some great things, made great friends, and have also taken some wonderful pictures. There are some places that we prefer over others. We stayed in Texas for three months one time because we loved our camp group. texaselectricityproviders rates are lower than many states, and the RV campsites are often cheaper to occupy. We stayed at a campground that was close to Corpus Christi. We had always wanted a beach house…Winnie is about as close as we have ever gotten. RVing for half of the year is a wonderful experience. It is just you, your partner, and the wide open road. You never know what you are going to come across. I have been keeping journals of our travels. One day, I hope to write a book.
