Funnily enough I don’t think number 3 will stop many guys.
It’s hard to say. I could say a good plan is, if you’re ever walking by yourself in a secluded area and/or late at night, it’s a good idea to talk to someone on the phone. If you fear someone is following you, clearly state that “you’re just round the corner” and that “you’ll be home soon.” I did this once and the man walking behind me crossed the road and walked the opposite direction.
The sad thing is, more than half of rapists know their victims. They’re friends, boyfriends, ex-boyfriends, husbands, even family. It’s so sick, and so incredibly sad. So what are Colorado going to say now? Don’t meet someone and get familiar with a rapist? Watch out for their rapist badge? The sticker on their forehead?
