Honestly, no. I went to a private high school that was “supposed” to be really good. As luck, or whatever, would have it, they began firing or retiring all the good teachers starting the year I started high school. In math, particularly, I had teachers who were either brand new to teaching that year or just really bad teachers. One year the only reason I was able to pass the class was because the teacher was so bad and disorganized that he passed the entire failing class. I tested well when I went to college, but even so I started back at Algebra I because I knew I never really learned any of it.
